What Is A Shielded Terminal Wire Harness

Jun 17, 2020 Leave a message

Shielded terminal wire harness contains ordinary insulated conductors in a standard conductive layer with a special protective shielding layer. This shielding layer distinguishes these cables from ordinary unshielded variants. The shielding layer is wrapped around insulated conductors, usually developed from braided copper and similar metal strands, spiral copper tape, conductive polymers, and other materials.

What does the shield terminal wire harness do?

Shielded cables can reduce and isolate the transmission of data or power, protecting it from the "electrical noise" or environmental electromagnetic interference (EMI) of high electrical power present in industrial, engineering, or manufacturing environments, and data and power transmission are subject to electronics interference. The shielded terminal wire is very useful in some industries.
