Precautions for shielded electronic wire

Aug 26, 2020 Leave a message

Shielded electronic wire is a conductor with a conductor wrapped around it, and the wrapped conductor is called a shielding layer, which is generally a braided copper mesh or copper (aluminum). The shielding layer needs to be grounded, and external interference signals can be introduced into the earth by this layer; The following are the precautions for the use of shielded wires:

electronic wire

  1. The ground wire of the shielded electronic wire must not be broken and must be twisted into one strand.

2. The braided ground wire of the shielded electronic wire should be as short as possible.

3. The ground wire of the shielded electronic wire must be grounded firmly and the grounding resistance must be small.

4. The shielding layer of shielding electronic wire should not be stripped too long.

5. The shielded electronic wire can only be grounded at one end, not at both ends.

6. The grounding wire is best covered with a heat shrinkable tube.
