Polyolefin is the standard bearer of the shrink tube market. The shrinkage ratio is 2 to 1, uniform heating, no bubbling, no splitting, and self-extinguishing. It also provides greater flexibility than PVC shrink tubing. The maximum temperature is 275 degrees Fahrenheit, which complies with UL 224, CSA 198.1 and MIL-I-23053/5.

PVC shrink tubing is not as easy to install as polyolefin, but it does provide better chemical resistance and a tougher outer layer. It is also better able to resist direct sunlight. Provides a shrinkage ratio of 2 to 1, with a maximum temperature of 221℃f, meeting MIL-I-23053/2, MIL-DTL-2 level 2, UL 224 VW-1 and CSA OFT recognition.

The adhesive lining allows the shrink tube to connect its own wire or terminal, and it is encapsulated to give it a watertight seal. Applications using this shrink tube require protection from elements or contaminants. High shrink ratio (3 to 1) makes odd-shaped connectors or applications easy to bridge and package.

Adhesive lined with shrink tube, suitable for strange shapes (4 to 1). With a shrink ratio of 4 to 1, this shrink tube can encapsulate any strange shape, you may need to seal it permanently with the environment. The adhesive lining allows the shrink tube to connect itself to the wire or terminal for a watertight seal.

Heavy wall shrink tubing is suitable for the harshest applications, including direct burial, diving, corrosion, severe mechanical and high pressure work

The encapsulable terminals are equipped with translucent colors: No. 22-18 terminals and connectors are red, No. 16-14 terminals and connectors are blue, and No. 12-10 terminals and connectors are yellow.
