A DB15 connector has 15 pins arranged in two rows, one row at the top of the other row. There are 8 pins in the upper row and 7 pins in the lower row. Not to be confused with HD15, it has three rows of pins. This connector can be found on sound cards, older AUI network cards and devices, and legacy Macintosh® monitors. This is often called a game port. This is because the most common peripheral for this port is a joystick or video game controller.
