Signal Cable Structure

May 13, 2019 Leave a message

The sensor signal cable problem uses tin-plated or silver-plated conductors.

The sensor signal cable has four layers of protection, namely insulation layer, shielding layer, winding layer and jacket layer, only to ensure the accurate transmission of weak power signals.

Insulation layer: It has physical and chemical properties equivalent to the sheath layer. In a narrow environment, the sheath, shielding net and winding layer can be removed and used as a wire alone.

Winding layer: The winding layer is a selected polymer material, mainly to prevent the shielding mesh from hurting the insulation layer. It also enhances the overall mechanical properties of the cable.

Shielding layer: The elaborate metal material (copper or tinned copper) must be able to successfully output interference signals. On the one hand, the extremely thin metal wire must have sufficient bending resistance to avoid metal debris affecting other electrical equipment.

Sheath layer: excellent mechanical properties, able to withstand high-strength metal impact and cutting. With very high tensile strength, it can also withstand long-term repeated bending.
